1932 Ford Coupe 'Black Betty'
This all steel Brookville bodied deuce coupe is currently under construction in our busy hot rod shop. The roof line on the all steel body was chopped in our body shop, the cowl vent filled, roof filled and custom transmission tunnel fabricated. Kruzin Kustoms have sourced and fitted the new LSX 454 alloy Chevy, this bolts to a 6-speed paddle shifted automatic transmission with a Speedway Engineering quick-change rear end. A one-off custom grill was fabricated by Dan Fink Metalwork's in California just for this deuce. Custom wheels, 20's out back and 18's up front are being built in the USA for the coupe, all the steering components are top of the line Flaming River and to bring the deuce to a halt, Wilwood 6-pot calipers and 13.5-inch rotors have been added. Keeping the occupants cool whilst the sit on a custom built Glide Engineering bench seat will be a Vintage Air System, take into account the automatic light sensitive headlights, I-phone compatible sound system etc this high tech show stopping 32 will be one hell of a hot rod! Just one of the vehicles currently under construction at Kruzin Kustoms, but one that seems to be gathering incredible attention from visitors to the shop is this 1932 Ford roadster.
The nostalgic deuce roadster was purchased in the USA and shipped down under last year, the 32 was driven south to Muscle Car Madness where it pick up a ‘Top 20’ trophy. Currently the old deuce is having a refurbishment to look even more nostalgic as well as a right hand drive conversion.

Sourced by Kruzin Kustoms out of California and now undergoing a complete rebuild for our customer including high performance small block, 6-speed transmission and full panel & paint is this 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Sports Coupe.
Being completely built from the ground up is this all new 1923 Ford Model T, the venerable ‘T’ Bucket!
Powered by a 350 Chevy the ‘T’ is being built for our customer with an old school look, cool!

Having been stored in a barn for many years this one owner 1966 Chevrolet Impala has had the body panels massaged in our body shop and sprayed in our booth in a cool metallic blue hue, all new running gear supplied & fitted plus new Foose Wheels. Shown here being delivered back to her proud owners where we’ll pick up their 37 Chevrolet Sedan which will be converted to 12 volt electrics & new wiper system amongst other jobs.

Undergoing complete re-routing of the air lines plus other components pertaining to the air ride suspension system including a new digital control mechanism and engine tuning is this show stopping 57 Pontiac.


Purchased & used stateside before being shipped down under is our customers 71 Chevy pick up, the teams doing a full panel & paint, rebuilding the 396 big block to take an 8.71 blower and turning the Chevy hauler into the customers dream ride.

From an old original 1961 Oldsmobile out of California to one cool street machine, this 61 olds has been fully stripped, engine rebuilt, complete panel & paint, new Foose Wheel’s supplied & fitted and now ready for upholstery.

Bought as a ‘going hot rod’ but in need of some serious work this 34 Chevy coupe has been re-powered, paint touched up, upholstery sorted, internal roll cage fitted, electric windows fitted and is ready to hit the road cruising.

Bare metal rebuild on this tough 69 Charger, Kruzin Kustoms supplied and installed the 426 Hemi, an all new Magnum Force independent front end has gone in and the mighty Mopar’s entering the panel & paint phase of the rebuild.

Undergoing a major rebuild is this staunch 71 Monaro, the team’s fitted a McDonald Brothers Racing narrowed 9-inch rear clip, aluminum small block Chevy running on NOS, 5-speed Tremec box and the guys are currently strengthening the chassis before the Monaro hits the panel phase of the build.


This 1937 Chevy coupes running a hot small block Chevy and is currently having running boards fabricated, full panel & paint’s next on the agenda and the guys have already fitted one of our Helix Steering Columns plus supplied & fitted the new wheels.

In 1961 this C1 Corvette wowed the automotive world, it’s almost ready to do it all over again! Having undergone a complete rebuild; stripped to its bare chassis and refurbished with all new parts, panel & paint in our shop and now nearing completion.

Cut down from a four door sedan many years ago this 1965 Chevy Impala is in the middle of a rebuild, as well as full panel & paint the guys are also rebuilding the big block.

Last time this 1960 Chevy drove it cruised the streets of Bakersfield, California. We sourced the 60 for a customer and are hard into rebuilding it into his dream ride (see photo of Impala model painted in the planned shades of green) which will be one low, big block powered custom cruiser. Major body modifications are underway, an all new big block Chevy with manual gear sack will power the 60 plus new wheels and a cool custom interior will have ‘Grimpala’ being one standout ride. Watch this space!

Stored in a barn for over forty years this 1923 ½ Studebaker sedan is in the middle of a major rebuild, all new panels fabricated, full wood out of the interior and rebuild of the seized up old engine, will be a show quality restoration.

This 69 Mustang came out of Kansas, USA, we have just done extensive work in getting the Pony car ready for NZ’s roads, new exhaust system, new Showtime Wheels, lowered the muscle car, ironed out the bugs and got her ready to comply with NZ regulations.

1934 Ford Coupe
Being built as an old nostalgia hot rod in our workshops is this five window 34 Ford coupe, its the proverbial cool old style hi-boy, running the all steel hood and is now painted in a bitchn' satin red hue. Red window tints added to her, there's brand new So Cal gauges in the dash, the steering's all set up, there's even an old school banjo style wheel and for cruising comfort a bench seats gone in with traditional red tuck n roll upholstery...sweet! 'Burger's' 34 Ford Coupe runs a tunnel rammed 402 Chevy - it's here getting the suspension sorted, the chassis to fully rolling stage with drive shaft loops added and the steering set up correctly.

In at Kruzin Kustoms for a full panel & paint, air bag, supply and installation plus we’re supplying & fitting a big brake kit with cross drilled & slotted rotors (front & rear) plus adding sway bars front and rear.

Starting out the right way with a genuine Kiwi Konnection deuce chassis from Kruzin Kustoms, the team have just fitted a fully chromed traditional hot rod front end.

1968 Buick Convertible
Used to pounding the blacktop in Minnesota this classic 68 Buick was imported by one of our customers and was in need of panel & paint plus some repairs to get her through the vinning process. With chassis work and the panel & paint sorted the cool gold Buick’s almost ready to hit the roads.
